The Technical Analyst uses DevOps Agile practices and tools to analyze and deliver predictable and repeatable solution design artifacts that enable continuous solution delivery by domain DevOps and operations teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Technical Writing & Communications
    • Translates business requests (Customer Journey's, EPIC's, or Business User Stories) into technical user stories, system diagrams, and low-level design documents, taking into consideration potential data sources.
    • Assists in the development of design specifications and deliverables that support system functions and enhancements.
    • Understands system protocols, how systems operate and data flows. Aware of current technology benefits. Understands the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete software and automation work. Independent study of current technology is expected.
  • Solutions analysis and Design
    • Participates in functional scope analysis and detailed solution design of the processes/systems impacted on work plan for each project assigned.
    • Contributes to designs to implement new ideas which utilize new frameworks to improve an existing or new system/process/service.
    • Review existing designs and processes to highlight more efficient ways to complete existing workload more effectively through industry perspectives.
  • Solution Planning
    • Collaborates with business and IT partner teams to develop business capability and technology roadmaps, provides education on potential process and system solution options, and drives business/IT investigation of emerging strategic capabilities.
    • Participates in analysis and translation of business, information, and technical requirements to achieve IT solutions that meet business needs.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. In lieu of degree, equivalent industry experience may be considered. (Required)
Work Experience:
  • 2-4 years Related work experience. (Required)
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory
  • Knowledge of writing SQL queries
  • Hands on experience with Python and building pipelines
  • Automating
  • Compliance Control Operations
  • Meeting with and building relationships with stakeholders to understand and meet their compliance requirements
  • Compliance reviews: Performing compliance reviews of management testing of internal controls
  • Performing testing over the design and operating effectiveness of assigned SOX controls
  • Ensuring compliance documentation requirements are met
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient in modern software development such as Python, integration and delivery practices using DevOps and Agile methodologies (preferred)
  • Hands on experience with micro-service based service architectures, their components and supportive database technologies (preferred)
  • SCRUM/Agile methodology knowledge
  • Database knowledge such as SQL, etc.
