ABOUT THE JOB

As a Construction Management Intern, you will be exposed to a variety of construction management areas and have the opportunity to work in these areas based on your skills and interests. You will be working in an incredibly fast-moving business and will have the opportunity to make valuable contributions. This internship is a paid opportunity for a duration of 10-12 weeks. The work schedule will be approximately 40 hours a week dependent on workload and your school schedule.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assisting with field execution support of construction projects.
  • Assisting with estimating, developing bid packages, issuing RFI's and coordination of submittals.
  • Assist with Bid coordination.
  • Observing and supervising construction activities.
  • Assisting with project close out activities.
  • Learn about the Support of our Field Staff.
  • Interacting with design professionals and construction management teams.
  • Assisting with tracking and forecasting project budgets.
  • Assisting with safety enforcement.
  • Organizing and attending project meetings.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction Management, or another related field from accredited program.
  • Applicant must be within two years of completing degree.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
  • Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure.
